Swan Lake: Reloaded

Swan Lake: Reloaded

at London Coliseum

This is a reinterpretation of the classic fairy tale Swan Lake where the action is relocated to the present and street dance meets Tchaikovsky. Instead of witchcraft and supernatural events Rothbart gains power over the environment with the help of drugs. The swans are prostitutes and completely dependent of Rothbart's patronage and the heroin that he provides them with. In the struggle between good and evil the desire to use drugs and love get in the middle.

With great dancing, great music and amazing costumes.

Tchaikovsky's original music is used to some extent, but is also paired with completely new compositions and specially composed music by Al Fakir and Moneybrother to mention a few.
