When disco diva Deloris Van Cartier witnesses a murder, the police place her in custody in the one place they are sure she won’t be found - a convent! Disguised as a nun she finds it difficult to live by the strict rules of the convent and so, in order to pass the time, she uses her disco moves and singing talent to bring new life into the convent's choir. In doing so, however, she ends up blowing her own cover. Soon the killers are after her, but quickly find out that it is not just Deloris they are up against, but her new-found Sisterhood as well!

Sister Act is based on the film of the same name where Whoopi Goldberg played the lead as Deloris. Alen Menken has written the music to Sister Act and previously wrote the music for hits such as ‘Little Shop of Horrors', ‘Beauty and the Beast’, ‘The Little Mermaid’ and more recently ‘Enchanted'.

Sister Act is touted as a warm and funny film where sometimes you find friends in places you least expect.
