When the young lion king Simba is born, his evil uncle Scar is pushed back in the line to the throne. Scar plans to kill both Simba and his father, King Mufasa, so that he can take over the throne. Simba survives, but is led to believe that his father's death is his fault and decides to flee the kingdom.
A terrific musical, and absolutely one of the most popular currently in London and New York.
