What can I expect?

The Night of the Iguana, penned by Tennessee Williams (The Glass Menagerie, A Streetcar Named Desire), is an award-winning play that asks what happens when different personalities collide.

In the 1940s in Mexico, a minister named T. Lawrence Shannon is expelled from his congregation after having an affair. Contrary to his expectations, Shannon is not de-frocked. However, the situation leads to him having a nervous breakdown, and he is institutionalized.

When Shannon is released, he wants to do something different with his life. He gets a job at a travel agency as a tour guide. During one of his tours, Shannon and a group of women arrive at a cheap hotel on the coast of Mexico. The hotel is managed by the widow of an old friend of Shannon's. As the personalities of Shannon, the hotel owner, and the other guests begins to clash, a tropical storm develops outside the hotel. Can these different personalities eventually get along? Or will the conflicts between, coupled with the storm, have serious consequences?
